Abstract

The methodological guide is the first in Ukraine to publish scientific and practical materials on the psychological bases of team management in the civil service within the framework of the Leadership Development Program for Civil Servants of І-ІІ categories. Training materials “Team Management: 5 Leader Tasks” reveal the 5 basic tasks of a team leader that relate to the main managerial functions of a leader in the civil service (team mission realization, systems creation, stimulation and development of team members, delegation of authority, etc.). Training materials for Team Management: 5 Leader Tools highlight specific practical methods by which a civil service leader is able to effectively plan resources, prepare result-oriented instructions, apply encouragement, manage criticism, and correct negative outcomes. The guide is intended for civil servants, specialists in the field of public administration, management, human resources management, as well as all interested persons in the issues of effective technologies of formation of teams in the civil service system.
