Abstract
The article states that it is necessary to state that the most defining feature of the offered book reader is its dialogue, journalism and polemical sharpness. Its relevance, to me, is undoubted. Whatever one may say, but in the absence of a proper intellectual product in the Ukrainian book market, the inquisitive reader is often forced to resort to foreign interpretation of the Ukrainian narrative. In this way, we are putting the matter of forming the national identity of Ukraine either in the hands of foreign countries, or, better, in the hands of "ours" who are "uncles of a foreign country" who associate themselves with the "Russian world".
