Abstract

The article deals with the phenomena of the play in a cultural-psychological context. The classical approaches of Shiller’s and Huizinga's are analyzed. In particular, questions about the meaning of the game in culture are considered. Alleged that culturological approach proposed two moments – awareness the play and awareness the situation of play. It's important for developing new theories. Is set a sign-symbolic typology of the play, where main criteria is an interrelation between the playing space and the real space. Describes the result of theoretical-experimental work of the building model of play as a psychological space of life activities of personality
