Abstract

The article deals with the concept of "attitude to health" and its components (emotional, cognitive, behavioral and practical). The authors present the results of empirical research related to the educational organization heads' attitude to health index and its components (emotional, cognitive, behavioral and practical). It has been found that the general level of educational organization heads' attitude to health is low (there have been no respondents with high index of attitude to health). The most developed components of the educational organization heads' attitude to health have been shown to be the emotional and behavioral components, with the cognitive and practical components being poorly developed. The authors analyze the relationship between the educational organization heads' attitude to health index and its components and the external meso- and micro-level factors. It has been shown that among the external meso-level factors, only 'the age of the organization' factor has had a positive effect on the educational organization heads' attitude to health index and the majority of its components. Among the external micro-level factors, 'the level of educational organization heads' education' factor and 'the educational organization heads' qualification category' factor have had positive effects on some of the educational organization heads' attitude to health index components.
