Abstract

The technologies of assessment of natural and scientific competence of pupils are highlighted. The purpose and the tools of the International comparative studies of the quality of general secondary education PISA and TIMSS are revealed. The content of the concept of "natural and scientific literacy" as understood in the documents of the International Study PISA is presented. The test of natural and scientific literacy of the International Study PISA and the test of the natural sciences of the International Study TIMSS have been characterized.
