Abstract

The current stage of the development of IR technologies, social communications and the Internet as an unprecedented channel of communication and dissemination of information it actually exempts all restrictions, blurs the borders and provides opportunities for free and equal access to diversity information and knowledge. It also updates the task of promoting new library services - online libraries or "digital libraries". Today, online libraries are online libraries an important and necessary element of the world cultural and information infrastructure, the adaptation of which to the digital media environment becomes a necessity and a powerful opportunity for the personal development and for the development of the New Ukrainian School, united territorial communities, digital society in the conditions of continuous expansion of the information space of knowledge.
