Abstract

It is about the essence and value of academic freedom, which is to integrate universities into regional and local communities, which today have every opportunity to respond flexibly and urgently to the challenges and needs of local industries, businesses and community groups, to provide them with the necessary professions, innovative developments, programs, projects and more. Effective and active participation of higher education institutions' employees in the vital activities of the region contributes to their transformation into centers of vocational training and scientific thought.
