Abstract

In the article, the author emphasizes the importance of a person-centered approach to learning, especially one of its components — gender approach. Provides scientific data on the differences in the functioning of the brain in children of different sex, the ontogenesis of the formation of such differences in boys and girls, about the applicability of these differences in the optimization of the educational process. Analyzes the concept of motivation and motivational readiness of senior preschool children for the school. Highlights the results of the diagnostic examination of the children of the senior preschool age, in which the leading motives, which are inducing modern boys and girls to study.
