Abstract

In the descriptive model of the All-Ukrainian branch information resource (AUBIR), the basis of which is the stock of V. O. Sukhomlinskyi SSPL of Ukraine, substantiated the theoretical foundations of its development, conceptual and categorical apparatus, analyzed the development of the library in historical retrospect and in modern conditions, reproduced its system organization, typological and species aspects, general structure, scope of types and kinds of documents; the structure and scientific-methodical bases of formation of AUBIR are defined, the priority directions and prospects of its development are outlined.
