Abstract

The methodological manual presents the theoretical and practical foundations of psychological study of military personnel and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the context of armed conflict. Effective methods of socio-psychological study and psychological diagnostics are presented. Comprehensive psychological study of personnel is an important prerequisite for reducing combat and non-combat losses, the rational use of the personal and professional potential of servicemen, maintaining their mental health, increasing the combat capability of troops (forces). Psychological study of personnel allows the command to take into account the psychological aspect in determining the potential combat capability of not only each soldier, but also of a separate unit, which is important in making operational decisions of combat management. The manual is prepared taking into account foreign and domestic experience of psychological support of troops (forces) and is intended for commanders, their deputies, other officials who work directly with personnel.
