Abstract

The theses indicate that mastering the Ukrainian language should ensure the development of critical thinking, student speech, as well as the effective assimilation of other educational subjects, which also determines the uniqueness of the Ukrainian language. It is stressed that in view of its humanitarian direction, the powerful potential for influence on the pupil, the Ukrainian language as a discipline has repeatedly become a reference point in solving not only pedagogical but also social problems, and the search for ways of effective education was associated with the choice of development strategy the whole educational system.
