Abstract
The author of the article draws attention to the discussion aspects of the problem of the formation of civic competence. As a result of the analysis of the scientific work on the chosen topic, there was a positive experience and a number of differences that require careful consideration and clarification. The most urgent researcher considers the correct service of terms, the coordination of positions on content of the components of the structure of civil competence and the development of mechanisms for measuring its formation.
