Abstract

The scientific and methodical manual outlines theoretical and methodological approaches to the definition of the essence and content of socialization of the individual, discloses its types and mechanisms, the place in the context of social pedagogy and the peculiarities of its correlation with education, the main determinants of the socialization process, the possibilities and risks of socialization of the individual in the context of modern transformation society, the state of childhood in modern socio-cultural realities, the phenomenon of social orphanhood and its causes, ways of prevention and prevention of negative tenders and this problem on the basis of positive socialization of the child in terms of immediate social environment; the concept of social pedagogical patronage of a young family as a possible effective mechanism for optimizing the conditions of primary socialization, creation of a coherent educational environment at the place of residence and strengthening the social function of society control are presented. The manual is designed for students, postgraduates, and also academics who study and work in the field of social pedagogy and social work.
