Abstract

The ideas and recommendations of V. Sukhomlynsky about ways of forming in children and youth of such moral priorities, ethical and pedagogical qualities of the person as social responsibility and public duty, are highlighted. Their formation is a peculiar indicator of social maturity of a young person, and therefore in the modern era acquires value.
