Abstract
The materials of the conference summarize the experience of Ukraine's participation in the international comparative study TIMSS-2007 and TIMSS-2011. In particular, it was concluded that the formation of an expert environment in Ukraine in the field of educational measurement serves as a guarantee of the effective functioning of the national system for monitoring and assessing the quality of general secondary education that is being created.
