Abstract

The materials of the conference reveal the peculiarities of the new exam in mathematics for the 8th grade students in Poland, as well outline the peculiarities that have the prospect of transformation into a system of external independent assessment of the results of the students' training for the course of basic secondary education in Ukraine.
