Abstract

The article is devoted to the life path and analysis of the scientific and pedagogical heritage of the outstanding scientist and scientist such as Ivan Gavrilovich Eremenko, the founder of the national special education, Ukrainian special didactics, whose work was included in the "golden" fund of national science and practice. The field of actual problems that have been the subject of research by Ivan Gavrilovich has been determined, initiated and organized by him in the process of developing differentiated correctional education for children with special educational needs. The article represent personal archival documents of Lyudmila Sergeyevna Vavina, who, under the direction of Ivan Gavrilovich, along with his other students H. M. Mersiyanova and V. Ye. Turchinskaya, developed theoretical, practical and methodological foundations for differentiated teaching of students of a special school in Ukraine.
