Abstract
The collection of scientific works discusses the actual problems of psychological assistance to the population of Ukraine at the present stage. The scientific-organizational and teaching-methodical questions of practical psychology are considered, in particular the urgent questions of improvement of the sphere of its staffing provision. Considerable attention is paid to the topics of psychological assistance to the victims as a result of traumatic events – the theoretical and practical aspects of the problem of prolonged trauma, models and technologies of psychotherapeutic assistance to various categories of victims, and the peculiarities of psychological work with the population through the mass media. The collection also presents a separate section on the theoretical issues of the development of psychodynamic psychotherapy. The collection is addressed to specialists in the field of counselling psychology and psychotherapy, both for scientists and practitioners, for teachers of higher educational institutions, graduate students, students as well as for anyone interested in issues of psychological, psychotherapeutic and rehabilitation assistance to the victims.
