Abstract

These theses presented the formative assessment as a direction of reforming of the secondary education in Ukraine. The purpose of this assessment, as well the principles of introduction in the educational process of institutions of general secondary education was revealed. The foreign experience of introduction of the formative assessment in the institutions of the general secondary education was highlighted.
