Abstract
The publication is devoted to the technologies of personnel assessment used, first of all, as a means of personnel selection in commercial and non-profit organizations of different forms of ownership. The current state and trends of personnel assessment development, opportunities provided by IT technologies, organizational and economic reasons for choosing methods of personnel assessment, and the predictive validity of the methods used in this area are analyzed. The most widespread and valid methods of personnel assessment are considered: analysis of candidate's CV and application form, recommendations, interviews, tests, job samples, simulations, assessment-center, personal and biographical questionnaires. The manual is intended for students of psychological specialties, researchers, practicing psychologists and HR specialists.
