Abstract
The publication is being analyzed Regulations on a special secondary school for children and adolescents who need special conditions of education (1993) and Law of Ukraine "On the bodies and services for juvenile and special institutions for minors" (1995) – documents, which became the basis of normative-legal ensuring of functioning of special general schools for children and adolescents who need special conditions of education (since 1995 - schools of social rehabilitation) in 1991-2010.
