Abstract

Article deals with modern progressive activities of the library of the institution. The paper explains the possibility of combining the efforts of librarians and teaching staff to develop the creative potential of students, including their self-educational abilities. An example of a common elective for students in the first course "Technology of self-education." The study concludes on the effectiveness of a combination of traditional, well-established forms of training for training and simulation-game sessions, educational design, creative exercises (thematic compilation of intellectual games, poetry, writing fiction stories, etc.).
