Abstract
The paper identifies the main trends in the reform of school education in Ukraine; A conclusion is drawn about the European-oriented nature of the reforms of national education. It is noted that further integration of the country into the world economic and cultural space, active globalization processes, encourages the synchronization of Ukrainian education with the European one.
