Abstract

The thesis refers to the formation of syntactic competence of students in the new textbook of the Ukrainian language for the 8th form. The emphasis is placed on the importance of studying the syntax of the phrase and the simple sentence in a competently oriented textbook of the Ukrainian language for the 8th grade (authors V. Novosyolov, N. Bondarenko), which contains analytical tasks, such obligatory components of the lesson as motivation, reflection, creativity exercises character, tasks, designed for joint activities in pairs and groups, compilation and distribution of dialogues, information search with the involvement of different sources, tasks for the organization of discussions, design and research activities.
