Abstract

The article investigates the psychological and pedagogical preconditions of the use of didactic local geography games on the lessons of physical geography of Ukraine and determines their effectiveness. Methods of research in the work used the following: search on existing methodological and scientific literature with the analysis of found material, the identification of causal relationships, systematization, abstraction and specification, analysis of documentation and results of researchers on the issue of research. The conducted research confirmed the effectiveness of the use of local geography games in physical geography classes and allowed to outline the perspective directions of future research.
