Abstract

The article outlines didactic and methodical aspects of organizing competent-based learning of foreign languages in primary school. Age features and potential opportunities of primary school pupils are described; types and forms of educational activity are offered in accordance with competent, communicative, personal oriented and culture-based approaches. Forms and methods of organizing the process of teaching language material and shaping foreign language communicative skills are explained. Materials of the article can serve as didactic and methodical tool for organizing competence-oriented teaching of foreign languages at primary school.
