Abstract

The article focuses on the complexity of the process of mastering the second language, the need to take into account the specifics and complexity of teaching the Ukrainian language. The modern tendencies in the implementation of the competence approach in the teaching of the Ukrainian language of pupils of the 5th form of educational institutions with languages of instruction of national minorities are described.
