Abstract

In the article the attention is focused on the theoretical and practical aspects of professional development of specialists of tourism in modern conditions. The peculiarities of formation of the relevant competences of professionals in tourism with regard to an adequate perception of the current socio-economic needs and consumer preferences, readiness to creation of new competitive tourist services on the basis of market priorities and values, awareness of personal responsibility for the results of professional activity.
