Abstract

The author argues that students’ participation in the project development and implementation promote the development of their civil competencies, bring the responsibility for solving the problems with which the school, the local community are facing right now, and those that have to be resolved after high school. During the project students acquire skills to participate in public life through hands-on experience working with the local community and authorities.
