Abstract

Scientists note that the scientific picture of the world that is being studied in school, has many outdated ideas, does not correspond to the current level of knowledge and understanding of the structure of the world, is not a factor in the development of the individual and the basis for determining the personal trajectory of life, dismembered and focused on artificial integration views and knowledge. Modernizing and changing the content of education through the introduction of profile education is a priority area of reform in Ukraine. In pedagogical collectives who already implement the idea of profile education or are preparing for its implementation is an immediate issue of identifying technologies and tools for developing model profile education in a specific institution of education based on available resources. The article substantiates the necessity of developing a pedagogical toolkit for the implementation of profile education with a certain content orientation. They include: 1) methodology for studying educational needs; 2) the concept ofprofile education for a certain content orientation; 3) model of the implementation of a competent approach in the process of designing the relevant content ofprofile education. The concept ofprofile education with a certain content orientation is considered as a scientific-pedagogical and social contract of all participants in the educational process, which helps to systematically model relevant processes in a particular educational institution, to identify each specialist their place in the implementation of the idea of certain content. The identified tools create the foundation for the systematic effective functioning of the technology ofprofile education, and the content ofprofile education becomes a factor in the development not only of the student's personality, but also of the territorial community (both at the local and global levels).
