Abstract
The work presents results of the empiric research of the gifted person's personal values conducted using an in-depth structured interview. Subjects of the research were 2nd to 4th-year students and intellectually gifted adults with significant professional achievements. As a result, the author identified and described six kinds of life activities that are connected with the orientation to specific personal values and form with regard to giftedness manifestation certain lifestyles: emotionally rich, focused on comfort, versatile, utilitarian, focused on work and focused on the meaning of an activity. Within the analyzed kinds interconnection of significant achievements and the adoption of certain personal values indicates the important role of the latter in the regulation of the livelihood of a gifted person.
