Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the psychological and pedagogical problems of modern economic education in the gymnasium and lyceum connected with the need for timely social and economic adaptation of a student's personality in the modern society, and this becomes possible both through the formation of systemic economic knowledge and through the formation of personal resources in the process of teaching the course of economy with updated textbooks for high school students. The content and form of a textbook of economics for students must meet all innovative requirements and transformational processes in the social and economic spheres. The article describes the concepts of intellectual and socio-economic adaptation of an individual and the concept of a personal resource.
