Abstract
The article is devoted to the influence of economic school education on the process and the adaptation of the personality of the pupil in modern society. The theoretical analysis of the problem of adaptation of the person in connection with the challenges of modern society is presented. Characterized features of economic school education and the essence of social adaptation of pupils. The results of research of psychological and pedagogical peculiarities of an individual's economic competence and efficiency of adaptation are analyzed. It was found that the vast majority of polled senior pupils who underwent economics training, are more adapted in society, have developed personal resources and coping strategies.
