Abstract

An in-depth analysis of the definition of "professional thinking" by scientists has been carried out, which proves its complexity and versatility, which gives grounds to assert that there is no clear definition of this term, but it is possible to single out its general features, namely: it is a process of revealing, comprehension and solving. professional tasks; activity aimed at solving professional tasks in a certain subject area; reflection of professional reality, which is carried out with the help of professional-specific tasks for each profession; his result is the solution of professional tasks. The emphasis is placed on the fact that the professional thinking of the future technicians-mechanics of agro-industrial production is conditioned by sector specificity (multidiscipline, seasonality, interweaving of natural and technological processes, distraction and remoteness of technical objects, etc.) and functional features of its professional activities in the agrarian sector. It is noted that the age-old psycho-physiological peculiarities of the future technicians-mechanics of agro-industrial production promote formation of professional thinking from the first year of study in higher agricultural educational institutions, since this period is sensitive to its formation. It is substantiated that professional thinking of technicians-mechanics of agro-industrial production is an integrated multicomponent process that has a complicated structure: technical, agrotechnological, spatial, operational, logical, creative components. It is concluded that the main approach in the complex formation of professional thinking of technicians-mechanics of agro-industrial production is activity, in which activity is considered as the leading and necessary condition and the main mechanism of its formation and development.
