Abstract
The article reviews the results of the analysis of the experience of the organization and activities of various educational institutions. Shown the quality of education and its cost per one subject of education are depends on the number of students in the school. These dependencies are non-linear, their extremes, as the minimum cost of teaching and the maximum quality of education do not accord, but their convergence shows the possibility of process optimization. The result of this illation can be a significant and positive social effect – improving the quality of education. Some recommendations on the informatization of the educational process and its management expressed.
