Abstract
The methodological manual identifies problems and strategies for activating the processes of national and civic self-identification of youth. The potential of communication as a factor of national and civic self-identification of youth is described. The results of empirical studies of the peculiarities of the manifestation of the barriers of national and civic self-identification of youth in different subsystems of social interaction are presented. A program of socio-psychological training for activating self-identification of youth is proposed. The methodical manual is addressed to teachers of psychology of higher educational institutions, psychologists, post-graduate students and students, specialists in the field of education - teachers, practical psychologists.
