Abstract

The article is devoted to the salutary strength of Ukrainian classical drama, the educational aspect of which is underestimated in the modern general school. The lack of students' motivation to perceive these works is ignoring the connotations of today's realities. On the example of M. Kulish's creativity, one of the ways of attracting the attention of senior pupils to Ukrainian drama, namely the connotation, was revealed.
