Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the results of an empirical study of communicative barriers of national and civic self-identification of young people, carried out through the method of in-depth interviews, the "Who am I?" technique, technique for value orientations’ identification and repertoire ranked grids. Criterias and indicators of various types of communicative barriers, such as social, informational and ideological, individual psychological, content and operational ones were determined. The subsystems of social interaction in which the process of self-identification of young people is taking place: the nearest social group (friends); group members; family; teachers; friends from other countries; social media (social media: Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, Twitter); traditional media (Internet news, television news); cultural and artistic works (actors, characters of cinema, literary works, musical works and musicians, dancers). The dominant barriers of national and civic self-identification were defined. The author has proposed a technological scheme to overcome the communicative barriers of national and civic self-identification through their: actualization (diagnostic technologies: recognition of barriers, determination of their influence on self-identification, determination of reference groups of influence on self-identification), reflection (reflexivetechnologies: estimation of multiplicity of manifestations in subsystems of social interaction, determination of zones of comfort / discomfort, estimation of adequacy of own behavior, reflection of possible strategies of behavior), transformation into various subsystems of social interaction (technologies of transformation: motivation for the transformation of own communicative experience, mastering skills of optimization of interpersonal interaction) and experience integration (technologies of conceptualization of experience: consolidation of motivation to auto-correction and transformation of the acquired experience, development of readiness to apply new knowledge, skills and abilities in real social interaction).
