Abstract

The article suggests that modern socio-economic transformations in Ukraine are leading to the reconsideration and rethinking by experts of self-worth, the level of acquired competencies, and the definition of career development strategies. Important categories for the formation of professional and career orientations of each person are giftedness, enthusiasm and moral responsibility. Career orientations, positioned by the author as stable entities that determine the professional way of the person, are determined by value orientations and relevant philosophical priorities in the definition and modelling of a professional trajectory. In this context, the solution to the problems of employment is considered important and relevant, but traditionally, considered as the final stage of the process of training and education of future professionals. The author states that employment can be successful if the students' perceptions of professional and career success are formed, according to the conditions of professional training and production practice.
