Abstract
A wide range of didactic issues has been highlighted in the manual "Technical creativity of the primary school pupils in the process of design and technological activities" relating to the technical creativity of primary school pupils as the basis for their preparation for future creative technical activities in industrial production (in particular, initial vocational guidance and core training pupils of grades 8-9). Considerable attention in the manual is paid to the consideration of methodological issues: methods of organization and implementation of various types of creative technical activities of pupils and the selection of its content component; principles and criteria of forming a system of creative tasks, inventive tasks for the development of intelligence, ingenuity, technical creative thinking and imagination of pupils, the ability to fantasize; methods of technical creativity and techniques for solving creative technical problems, methods for evaluating pupils’ achievements, etc. Special attention in the manual focuses on the psychological foundations of human creative activity and the importance of their inclusion in the process of creative technical activity of pupils (associative thinking, association, intuition, inertia of thinking, etc.). The concept of the manual provides for the maximum development of diverse creative abilities of pupils: competences in theoretical issues of technical creativity, practical skills in developing a creative project that involves the design and production of technical models and products of real use, solving creative problems, solving inventive tasks, etc.; contributes to the formation of a pupil's creative personality. The manual contains a large number of drawings that illustrate the methodology for the formation and development of creative technical abilities of pupils. The material of the manual can be successfully used by teachers of labor education, leaders of technical circles, teachers and students of the relevant departments, as well as pupils of general education institutions.
