Abstract
The paper covers organizational principles of school education reform during the Ukrainian revolution period - the time of development of the national school and its theoretical bases while forming the Ukrainian nationality. The presented bibliographic list of historiography and sources of study will be useful for the researchers of history of education and pedagogy as well as those who take part in the current reform process.
