Abstract

The author in the article presents and characterizes some definitions of the concept of «pedagogical technology». The role and significance of these definitions in the practice of upper secondary school is described. The development of pedagogical technologies in profile education is considered in the context of social determinants. On the basis of the Law of Ukraine «On Education», socially important factors influencing the formation of key competencies of upper secondary school pupils are described. The core of competencies that have a positive impact on the innovative character of teaching activities has been determined by the observations that were conducted in experimental schools. Enumeration of competencies included in the mentioned core: – competence in curriculum questions (the knowledge of educational fundamentals; the ability to develop curriculum and the skill of implement these programs); – cybernetic-combinatorial competence (higher level of work with scientific and pedagogical information; modeling of the process of implementation of modern forms and methods; the ability to modernize and develop pedagogical technologies); – psychodidactic competence (organization and realization of educational activity on the basis of pedagogical technologies); – autodidactic competence (increase of professionalism in pedagogical activity; modeling of self-learning technologies); – acmeological competence (achievement of the vertices of pedagogical skill, motivation of pupils to study throughout life); – axiological competence (adequate reaction on individual and social manifestations, values, settings, orientation, etc.; adequate evaluation of situations); – socionomical competence (professionalism in the management of knowledge about physical, physiological, intellectual, emotional, volitional, and other personality structures, as well as in the realization of social interactions determined by these structures); – vitality competence (vitality as a value and the ability to implement genetic programs of development of personality). The block of competencies included in the core in the process of innovative pedagogical activity of teachers is an important factor that ensures the implementation of educational policy in the field of profile education, strengthens of the competence system of the personality of pupils on a value and social basis.
