Abstract

The article is intended to broaden the understanding of the atypical nature of both the natural diversity of the human population and inclusiveness as a world-view model of a democratic, progressive system of coexistence of a diverse community. In particular, it presents some conceptual approaches to understanding atypicalness / exclusivity in an inclusive environment. In scientific studies of non-typology, a conceptual multi-vectority is traced that details and specifies pedagogical, psychological, sociological, philosophical, and others. position in the understanding of this phenomenon. The common aspects in the characterization of this concept, which are manifested in its interpretation due to social insufficiency caused by biosocial factors, are outlined. In the educational environment, an atypical meaning is understood as the reduced or increased ability of a particular child to standardize academic and social standards. The vision of Western and Ukrainian scholars in the sense of exclusivity in general coincides and is to evaluate it as educational, cultural, social, psychological, etc. deviation. However, in the western reflection there is a greater focus on social expectations, while Ukrainian realities still experience the atypicalness as an individual personality trait. The necessity of generalizing the conceptual vision of the atypical / exceptional nature of the scientists is substantiated, which will allow us to carefully develop strategies for the introduction of inclusive education in Ukraine, improve its legislative and regulatory framework, and create effective technologies for training and socialization of the polymorphic contingent of educational institutions.
