Abstract

The article deals with the significance of materials of the "Native school" magazine through the prism of source study. It was determined that the materials of the magazine of the first decade of independent of Ukraine served as a source of reforming the general secondary education and the reproduction of the evolution of education and pedagogical science during the period of the establishment of Ukrainian statehood.
