Abstract
It is determined that the person in the post-traumatic period not only restores but also opens up prospects for increasing the psychological well-being associated with personal growth. The following differences are revealed in post-traumatic life-creation: changes in the life-world spatial-temporal coordinates, self-identification parameters, everyday life semantic content, and forms of practice. There are considered the prerequisites for the psychological well-being achievement in the post-traumatic period: 1) the ability to rethink the traumatic experiences; 2) the achievement of internal autonomy; 3) the ability to receive and give help 4) increasing of productivity, self-efficacy; 5) activation of creativity and responsibility to one's own life. The life-optimization strategies are defined: the provision of professional psychological assistance; promoting a new attitude to military traumatism; testing of more effective forms of contact with the environment; activating the search for new values; awareness of oneself as the author of his own life.
