Abstract
Analyzing cognitive processes as components of creativity, we turn to the characteristics of the tasks to be solved. The less certain a cognitive task is, the greater the opportunities for creativity in the course of its solution. In this regard, there is a need to consider cognitive problems with varying degrees of uncertainty. In the development of the corresponding typology we rely on the set-theoretic representation of cultural processes, as well as on the provisions of the theory of problems.
