Abstract

A significant sign of our time is the formation and development of an information society and the transition to innovative models of development in all social spheres. In accordance, formation and development of the informational educational environment (IOS) of an educational institution, which directly depends on the managerial activity of its head, influences the effectiveness of the informatization of the educational process. The article deals with the system of designing the informational and educational environment in educational institutions of modern society, its structure and content, conceptual approaches to the construction of the SMART model of the institution of education, the advantages of the introduction of management information systems, IT, software, free social tools for education (Tools for Learning).
