Abstract

The monograph deals with various aspects of improving the content of professional training of future foreign language teachers as well as with the peculiarities of competence-oriented teaching of foreign language to elementary school students. The presented materials address actual problems of foreign language learning in conditions of transformation processes taking place in educational sphere of Ukraine. Problems considered in the monograph are to be of professional interest of teachers of higher educational institutions, methodologists, foreign language teachers, postgraduate students and all those interested in various aspects of reforming the content of foreign language education.
