Abstract
The theoretic-empiric analysis of aspects of problem of psychological peculiarities of spiritual values, depression and hardiness of the personality is presented in the article. The analysis of concepts of spiritual values and depression of personality is carried out. It is noticed that depression is combination of emotions and affective cognitive structure which include fear, alarm, sense of guilt, despair and anger. Spirituality must be seen as a socio-moral value, the essence of which is expressed in the ability to learn, to create the world with the good for people, in humanity, in tolerance, in positive freedom. Spirituality is one of the essential categories of human existence, which expresses the ability of the personality to the creation of culture and affirmation. Spirituality reflects the value attitude to the higher meanings of life and revealed in the morality of personality. Personality of youthful age there were an inverse significant connections of depression with orientation in time, values of personality, striving for self-actualization, creativity, autosympathy, spontaneity. It is noticed that depression increase negative influence of strong stress factors. It was found that the preference for spiritual values more characteristic of the personality with low level of depression. Individuals of youthful age there were reverse significant connections of depression with self-control and hardiness. Personality of adolescents with severe depression is more inclined to use projection, rationalization, reaction formations, substitution of the mechanisms of psychological protection.
