Abstract
Topicality of studies dedicated to the standards-oriented trasformation in the educational dimension abroad for Ukraine is stressed; EU countries movement towards school education standartization to rise its quality is characterized; challenges accompanying standartization are identified; conclusions about the importance of a balanced approach within global reforms as well as taking into account of national traditions and lessons learned are made.
